Refund Policy

Himalayan Handmades South Africa prides itself on customer satisfaction.
 
We will make every effort to ensure that all your concerns are dealt with fairly and, as we are are supplying you as a customer, it is in our best interest to make sure that we build up a good relationship to ensure future online orders from you.
 
If you are unhappy with any items you have purchased on our site, and wish to return them, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your goods. Contact us by email at colleen@himalayanhandmades.co.za explaining the reasons for your return, with photographs to back it up.
 
It is important to understand that slight variations in weave, colour and size will occur naturally because most of our clothing and accessories are handcrafted. Insignificant manufacturing imperfections are not defects as many of the processes are done by hand.

Please consider your options carefully as sending back an item is costly. We will go out of our way to make sure you are 100% satisfied as we are looking receiving future orders from you
 
Please check and notify us about your intention to return the product within 7 days after receipt of the order. Himalayan Handmades South Africa will look into the matter and revert back to you. Claims made after one week of receipt of the order will not be accepted. When returning your item, ensure that it is unused (in the same condition you received it) and in the original packaging. Please ensure the original label is also intact.
 
We can exchange goods for similar items. We cannot guarantee that we will still have the exact item that you purchased in stock
We will not be responsible if any goods are lost while being returned. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility. You may ship your package using the delivery method of your choice.
 
Lost or damage of any products must be claimed directly with involved courier company. Himalayan Handmades SA. won't accept the returned goods if it is sent without our return authorization.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request for an exchange/refund. (NB: authorization to return the item does not imply that approval has been granted for a requested exchange/refund).
If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, depending on your original methods of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at colleen@himalayanhandmades.co.za
If you are approved for an exchange item then you will be notified of when you can expect to receive it and this will also depend on the availability of the item

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Himalayan Handmades SA can, unfortunately, not refund any sale items

 
Upon receipt the returned goods, Himalayan Handmades South Africa reserves the right to decide whether to refund or exchange the goods.
